It is important to teach children about their rights at an early age. A festival, celebrating arts and culture with a theme around rights of the child, helps reinforce the message in Nicaragua.

I am not sure if I should laugh or feel very sad that a girl, living in an extremely poor area of Latin Amercia, has a shirt like this.. one thing we can agree on..she is extremely cute.. and seemed to know it.

No matter what the circumstances, children find a way of enjoying life, even in this poor area of Honduras. It is a lesson for us all!
